Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho, Senior Pastor of Grace and Truth Church was recommended as the Chairman of IMCR Conference (The International Ministries & Church Revival Conference)

Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho accepted the recommendation for the Chairman of IMCR Conference and emphasized on devoting himself to world evangelism.

"The International Ministries & Church Revival Conference (IMCR) for the 21st Century" was held and hosted under the grace of God by the Grace and Truth International Ministry of Grace and Truth Church in the Garden Sanctuary of the Grace and Truth Church for five nights and six days from October 1st to the 6th During the conference, 150 participants from 13 countries composing of primary reverends and pastors, recommended that Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho, the Senior Pastor of Grace and Truth Church, for the Chairman of the IMCR Conference, International Permanent Organization.

At the closing ceremony all the pastors from each country, unanimously and officially recommended Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho for the Chairman of IMCR Conference. Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho willingly accepted this recommendation. Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho, emphasized in his accepting speech, that as chairman, he would not spare his efforts for the International Ministries, Church Revival, and the continual development of the conference. Furthermore he suggested that all of us should cooperate with one another for the 21st model churches of apostolic faith & leadership, and world evangelism.

IMCR CONFERENCE FOR THE 21ST CENTURY CLOSED

Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho emphasizes on the "strong mission, Holy Spirit fullness, and evangelism with holy motives and means according to the Bible". All the participants were moved greatly by "Rev. Dr. Cho's Ministry Philosophy, and the volunteers organizations and their positive service activities"

"The International Ministries & Church Revival Conference (IMCR) for the 21st Century" was held and hosted by the Grace and Truth International Ministry of Grace and Truth Church in the Garden Sanctuary of the Grace and Truth Church for five nights and six days from October 1st to the 6th with about 150 pastors from America, Philippines, Myanmar, Canada, Maccao, Singapore, Bangladesh, Thailand, Australia, Malaysia and South Africa, etc, under the title of "Church of Apostolic Faith & Leadership". The foreign pastors started to arrive at Kimpo Airport from September 29th and were greeted by a contingency from Garden Sanctuary. On the first day, October 1st, the conference started with an orientation and Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho's welcoming dinner party. All the foreign pastors took part on the Friday Night Worship Service in Anyang and Ansan Sanctuaries at 11 p.m.. On the morning of October 2nd, they viewed the big and wide facilities of Garden Sanctuary and its surrounding beautiful mountains. This is also the new area of international ministries, created by the church vision and the providence of the work of God. They moved into the Jerusalem Hall and listened to Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho's topic lecture.

Rev. Dr. Cho lectured on "The Principles of Ministry for Mission and Church Revival" offering new ministry philosophy to the pastors and planting strong challenges for the church revival and mission. In his lecture, he deliberated, "Just as Christians live happy lives by learning and applying the principles for successful lives from the Bible. For the Bible reveals the unchangeable principles of life; as a result, we also have unchangeable principles in all circumstances of the work of a pastor's mission and church revival. He stressed on the principles according to the Bible. In conclusion, he put the emphasis on the fact that the ministry is based on these biblical principles, and its successful work. The participants were moved and were deeply impressed by his message. After the lecture, there were Pan flute performance by the Gorban musical group, the introduction of the ministries of Domestic Ministry, Men's Fellowship Ministry and Church School with slide and VTR materials and a prayer meeting for their own church revival with the people until late evening.

On the Lord's Day, October 3rd, they were divided into groups and participated in the worship services at some sanctuaries. They shared fellowship and the grace of God with church members, as they viewed each organization, such as the Men's and Women's Fellowship Ministries, Domestic Ministry, and many other mission committee. They were impressed and touched by the believers' enthusiastic love and spareless devotions in the service activities. After coming back to the Garden Sanctuary, they had a gracious time. They were introduced to the present situation of evangelism, the main direction of the mission, and their own ministry experiences according to their countries. They encouraged and comforted one another through the time of fellowship and testimony in the love and joy of Jesus Christ. Notwithstanding, our church held the 34th Homecell Leaders' Seminars in the morning on both October 4th and 5th with 10,000 homecell leaders in the Main Hall of the Garden Sanctuary. The pastors watched and felt homecell leaders' enthusiasm for the salvation of souls, their minds of faithfulness and service to God and the church, they also felt the passionate atmosphere of prayers. The congratulation songs of Grace & Truth Mission Choirs and the Women's Choirs, special songs by some soloists, and the musical performance called "Remember Me" increased their movement and the grace of God through praises. In the afternoon on October 4th, the pastors listened to the introductions of the International Ministry, Women's Fellowship Ministry, and Church Music by the Choir Council.

They moved into the Bethlehem Hall to join the Korean pastors' regular general meeting of our denomination, and foreign pastors were welcomed and encouraged by the Korean pastors. In the evening, the Korean and foreign pastors joined the Monday Blessing Prayer Meeting together in the Main Hall through simultaneous interpretation by a satellite multi-screen. The pastors and church members in 22 different sanctuaries prayed for the international ministries and church revivals, and the evangelism of the world with some prayer requests according to their countries. On October 5th, they made a trip to the Korean Folk Village in Yongin in the afternoon and enjoyed shopping in Dongdaemun market in the evening. They learned that Koreans are restoring their economic depression of the IMF crisis by the help of God and the believers' continual and enthusiastic prayers.

At the closing worship service on the last day, October 6th, Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho encouraged the participating pastors once again and he presented the remembrance certificates of conference with souvenirs. He also blessed earnestly each of them by putting his hands on their heads for the sake of successful ministries in their churches. All the foreign pastors also gave him some memorial souvenirs and thankful hearts for the warm hospitality, love, and grace of our church, and all the church members for preparing for the wonderful and beneficial conference. They said their goodbyes with love and affection to the volunteers such as Somkimi and Dowoomi of Grace and Truth Church. All the programs of the IMCR CONFERENCE proceeded successfully in the fullness of the Holy Spirit and the Grace of God.

The 34th Homecell Leaders' Seminars were held in the fullness of grace, word and Holy Spirit with 150 pastors and 10,000 homecell leaders.

Dr. Cho emphasizes on doing their best in fulfilling ministry mission by following good examples of David The 34th Homecell Leaders' Seminars were held successfully according to the parishes and districts in the fullness of Grace and Holy Spirit in Garden Sanctuary on October 4th and 5th during the IMCR Conference with Rev. Dr. Yong Mok Cho, Senior Pastor of Grace and Truth Church.

The Main Hall of Garden Sanctuary was filled with 150 foreign pastors and 10,000 homecell leaders longing to deepen their spiritual knowledge to fulfil their ministry and mission with earnest hearts, to obtain the fullness of the Holy Spirit. On the first day, Rev. Dr. Cho preached with the title of "Let's become homecell leaders following David's good example" on the basis of First Samuel 17:34- 37. On the second day, he preached "Let's become homecell leaders who can be acknowledged by Jesus". All the pastors and homecell leaders were touched and impressed by his sermon that we should do our best to fulfil our ministry and mission by following David's good example and by leading, caring and loving souls.

Rev. Dr. Cho awarded the winners of souls for the abundant fruit of evangelism during this year, and he blessed all the pastors and homecell leaders for stable home lives and their abilities to devote themselves to the work of the Lord with various gifts and strong health.

During the seminars, there were foreign pastors' testimonies and thanksgiving greetings for the hospitality and invitation to the IMCR Conference. There were some special songs by the Grace and Truth Mission Choirs, Women's Choirs with some soloists, in addition to the musical performance "Remember Me" which increased the grace and inspiration to the hearts of the participants.
